Message from Weta Marine HQ

We are very happy to announce that Toni Castells from RS Veleros is the new Weta dealer for France.  RS Veleros will replace Paris Voile who have resigned as Weta dealer.

Toni has been the Weta dealer in Spain since 2011, so we have had a close relationship over this time. Toni is a very active sailor and has operated a very successful sailing school and charter center since 1978.

RS Veleros has a lot of experience servicing sailors with new boats and spare parts. They have excellent communication and a frequent, reliable delivery service throughout Europe.

RS Veleros is based in L’Escala, Spain.  Toni has excellent knowledge of the market and he has a proven record of great customer service.

Toni has Weta Marine’s unquestioned endorsement and we are delighted that he has agreed to work with Weta in France to provide quality service to the Weta owners.

It is a global challenge we are having at the moment with Covid-19 so we hope this news will bring about some relief and happiness to you all.

RS Veleros will shortly bring you information on how we can move together to plan some summer sailing.

Presentation of La Rochelle:

Starting point for legendary races such as the « Solitaire du Figaro », the « Mini Transat », the Edhec, the « Tour de France à la Voile », La Rochelle has always been a source of inspiration for nautical adventure, welcoming the most fabulous ocean racers and the most famous sailors. It has been able to turn its maritime anchorage into a tremendous asset for economic, tourism and cultural development.

The cultural and natural heritage of La Rochelle and the three nearby islands Aix, Ré and Oléron is full of opportunities for escape and entertainment. Its many museums, numerous festivals and its Aquarium, among the largest in Europe, make La Rochelle a festive and lively city all year round!

Around the Old Port or in the old town, taste the flavours of an exceptional maritime terroir. Let yourself be tempted by the Charentaise speciality, the oyster. Enjoy the Charentaise mouclade (mussels), the Charentaise galette, the Chabichou du Poitou (goat cheese) without forgetting the Pineau des Charentes, in moderation…
